Vem Miller, a Nevada resident, was arrested at a checkpoint in Southern California while allegedly heading to a Donald Trump campaign rally. The local sheriff identified him as being connected to a far-right movement known as the Sovereign Citizens.

Miller's arrest occurred when police officers stopped him at the checkpoint and observed that his vehicle displayed an unusual license plate. According to Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, this plate appeared to be homemade and was characteristic of a group that identifies as sovereign citizens.

Authorities, including the Secret Service and other federal agencies, confirmed that Trump was never in any danger. Miller has since been released on a $5,000 bail. SEE MORE
